Razvan Botis
Răzvan Botiș observes reality and processes it with a sharp eye and humor in his ceramics. His works overturn conventional perception and preconceived ideas through a detached and lucid approach, speculating the apparent simplicity of certain gestures and situations. He uses a single type of clay and he is interested mostly in representing the human body in various situations. The works might seem easy shaped, but at a closer look they reveal a complex know-how tool. An important detail in the artist choice is that he uses just his hands and no other instrument.
