Marius Bodea

Overview

Marius Bodea’s recurring themes in his paintings are loneliness, existential isolation, anxiety, and nothingness. His paintings reveal the loss of meaning and identity in the contemporary world and the precarious condition of our times.

Bodea's paintings are sober and intriguing, conveying strong emotions. The artist rarely uses pure colour, prefering a cold palette, which corresponds to the states and moods he is expressing in his paintings.
